DTVS-DSR2 / Media Not Live
« Last post by admin on June 16, 2012, 12:25:50 pm »
Some users have advised they are getting "Media not live" when attempting to play back their recordings. the "Media not live" message will appear when the internal HDD is not initialised. This can happen when:

1) The "Safe Remove" option has been done. This option is designed to isolate the HDD and will make the HDD unavailable for recording or playback.

2) The power to the receiver has been turned off and the HDD has not initialised properly.

To recover from this error, please do the following:

1) Power down the receiver by using the power switch at the back of the unit.
2) After about one minute. Turn power on to the receiver.
3) On your TV a message will appear "USB Initialising". Do not press any buttons on your remote.
4) Wait until "USB Ready" message appears. This message will stay for a very short duration.
5) Check your Play List and see if it will appear.

If you still get "Media not live", please contact our help desk on 04 9745031 for further assistance.

c) Select Media Information
d) Select "Format" drive by pressing the RED button.
