We are releasing new software for the Homecast HT9200DTR for those customers who would like to load it.

Changes included in this software release:

1) Improvements to recordings.Timer overlap allowed when there are two recordings.

* EXISTING RECORDINGS WILL REMAIN ON THE RECEIVER.                                                 *

The firmware can be downloaded from:

Instructions on how to install the software are below:

1. Download and extract the file “_sw_code.sgn” to the root drive of your USB memory key.
2. Insert the USB memory key in the USB slot (behind the front panel)
3. Press the Menu button on the Homecast remote control.
4. Press the “right arrow” button on the Homecast remote until you are at the “Advanced” menu option.
5. Press the “down arrow” button to highlight “USB Transfer” and the press OK
6. You will see three panels. The left hand side will show what the current software version is. The middle should show 1.07.3B.
7. Make sure "USB to STB" transfer is highlighted and then press the OK button.
8. The software will start loading and the receiver will reboot.
9. After the receiver restarts, press the Menu button again and go to the “Information” option and press OK.
10. Check the “S/W Version” is now 1.07.3B.
11. Perform a Factory Reset and then reload the channels.

Troubleshooting

1) If your USB memory key is not recognised:

a) Please turn your receiver power off using the power switch at the back. Turn the unit on and then reinsert the USB memory key.

b) Please try a USB key that supports USB 1.1
